1. Prize Value & Restrictions

• The prize consists of wedding flowers, consisting only of FYNBOS, valued at R20,000. The prize is non-transferable, may not be exchanged for cash, and may not be sold, ceded, assigned, bartered or transferred for financial gain whatsoever.

2. Florist Responsibility

• The prize includes FYNBOS flowers only. The selection and payment of a florist for arranging and styling the flowers is not included in this prize.

3. Wedding Date Eligibility

• The winner’s wedding must take place within one of the following timeframes:
  • 1 August 2025 – 31 December 2025 (optimal flowering season for Fynbos)
  • 1 August 2026 – 31 December 2026 (optimal flowering season for Fynbos)

4. Flower Availability

• The selection of FYNBOS flowers and FYNBOS greenery will be based on seasonal and geographical availability. While the winner may express preferences, Cape Flora South Africa (“CFSA”) reserves the right to provide what is available at the time. The winner understands and accepts that CFSA must be informed in writing of the exact order at least 21 (twenty-one) calendar days prior to the wedding date.

5. Marketing & Photography Rights

• The winner agrees to provide Cape Flora South Africa with access to all wedding photographs that include the provided flowers for use in CFSA’s social media and other marketing materials free of charge. The winner accepts that this condition must be clearly communicated to the winner’s photographer before the wedding date.

6. Additional Photographer

• Cape Flora South Africa reserves the right to send a photographer of their choice to capture images of the floral arrangements and styling. This photographer will solely document the floral setup and will not interfere with the couple’s wedding photography. Should CFSA decide to send a photographer, they will communicate this with the winner prior to the wedding date.

7. Competition Entry Deadline & Winner Announcement

• Competition runs from 1 March 2025 – 30 June 2025.
• Entries close on midnight 30 June 2025.
• The winner will be announced in mid-July 2025.

8. Winner Selection Criteria

• The winner will be selected based on the following engagement criteria:
• Liked the competition post on Instagram.
• Tagged another individual in the comments on Instagram.
• Followed Cape Flora South Africa on Instagram.
• Shared the post to their Instagram story.

9. Coordination with Florist:

• The winner or the appointed florist, must follow the necessary care instructions supplied by CFSA to maintain the flowers’ freshness for optimal photography on the wedding day.

By participating in this competition, entrants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions. Cape Flora South Africa reserves the right to amend these terms at any time if deemed necessary without notification. All entrants must be 18 years or older.

We and CFSA are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction the social media platform, network or lines, computer systems, servers, or providers, computer hardware or software failure or malfunction, internet traffic congestion, or any other technical problems in respect of this competition.

The entrant releases the social media platform from any liability in any respect.

Entrants acknowledge that the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, the social media platform.

Entrants agree to comply with the policies and rules set by that social media platform which can be found at https://help.instagram.com/581066165581870/?helpref=uf_share.

Entrants agree to indemnify and hold us or CFSA harmless against any claim, directly or indirectly, for any injury, loss or damage pursuant to the competition and acceptance of the prize.
